note: God lead me to this site, after reading Patricia Raybon's book, "My First White Friend"...

since the majority of white Christians, that I have met during my life have all but a few, been extremely hurtful, and well, flat out rejecting when realizing one of my daughters is Native Indian and very dark skinned [I have lived with racism all her life, not towards me, towards her, but it hurts just as much] but even worse,

the just 'shock' when I tell anyone about my mother's abuse to my brother and me, esp the sexual, its like, this oh my gosh it just blows that whole white madonna image right out of the water,

I can't live life 'pretending' it never happened or that our lives weren't in a huge way destroyed because of it, or my kid's lives, having been negatively effected because of...

then to top it off, my son is half Jewish, so I get to deal with the antisemitism as does he, and to be frank,

there are NO WORDS, TO DESCRIBE, WHAT A MOTHER FEELS TO HEAR HER EIGHT YEAR OLD BOY, ASK HER,

"MOM, why do they want to throw me into an oven?"

IT CHANGES EVERYTHING,

AND I DO MEAN EVERYTHING....

I simply dont' relate well to the majority of white people, maybe because as a child, I was treated like the dirty Jew by a very sick mother, and my first and only two best friends in the world,

I was five years old, were two African American girls, in Maryland. They lived next door...needless to say, that was in the era of hate riots, spawned by whites,

I was taught a 'lesson', at five years old, by a group of white boys, teens, I don't remember anything, about the attack

but I do remember, my hateful mother, telling those girls, when they came to see if I could play, that no, I could never see them again...

and I remember, sitting on that stairway, in Silver Spring Maryland, crying my eyes out, my hateful mother, tearing away from me the ONLY LOVE, I had,

and I remember, looking at them, begging my mother, and I will never forget their faces,

and one of the girls said, "Yes maam, we understand" and they turned, the door slammed,

and I

died.

The few friends I had, growing up, minus two white girls, were African American or Latina...mostly Latina because I grew up in the poor side of town which was a few white families and pretty much Latino, and so, I know the culture...

also I'm half Italian, and since also Catholic [then], our cultures were very much the same, different on some things but very much the same on so many others and I just felt more comfortable,

still do. I have had white friends, just not that many...and even now, late in my adult years, I find, that I offend many white folks,

for speaking of things, things that are true, but things, they get enraged about, like, privilege and our nation's policies, etc....

within the church that is....and I do notice, the wide gap, the wide segregation within the Christian community,

it is so there....and its not just on the white side, the tension, but I will say,

its the root, of the white refusal, to address, the root problem, of the construct of whiteness and the privilege, injustice, that goes all the way back to Europe,

in all fairness however, and based on historical and current still, fact, it wasn't just Europeans guilty of the crimes,

people need to also look into the study of the Arab slave market--oh yea, and who sold slaves, to the Americans and Europeans...because, that slavery,

is Still going on today and is still justified, by another type of 'race supremacy' and religious imperialism...I dont' have any qualms in saying it either,

Sudan, is just one huge example.

Anyway...Patricia's book, I highly recommend all to read, and why God lead me to read it, it was the ONE BOOK,

THAT HELPED ME, TO HEAL FROM A LOT OF IDENTITY HATE...FROM MY MOTHER'S ABUSE,

because they know, what it is, to grow up, learning self-hate, being told all the time, vocally and in the society, how evil they are, etc., are sub human, so forth...and it was in her book, that God started working in me,

on just how deep the hurt goes and about forgiveness...

though, I am not all the way there yet.

[update: I am currently researching the MONEY TRAIL and let me just say, it is way more corrupt, I intend to also investigate and research, any ties to the PORN industry, especially trafficking, where the 'elites' are concerned, [seems to appear in the legal structure/elites and the church's role, particularly in the cases of elite structures that cover up or perpetuate rapes, rapes in particular of women of color, e.g. Asian women] and will include them in a full page report once finished. I will be writing an essay, some time soon, on the Distortion of Proverbs 31.

but for a quick summary, I heard yet, another preacher today on the Radio [I won't say who because I am confronting the teaching and distortion, not the preacher], about Proverbs 31, that has been the idolized 'ideal' of what God desires of women.

This distortion has been more abused and has caused more of a perpetuation of racism, privilege, consumerism, androcentric patriarchy and indifference to the oppression of women worldwide than any other scripture, in my opinion, even worse than the scriptures on women and submission. Therefore, I believe that the manner in which Proverbs 31 is taught to direct, influence and heap guilt onto thousands of women, begs to be challenged.

I believe Proverbs 31 is not some 'perfect Godly ideal' for women to try to achieve, which is, to anyone with any inkling of common sense or mathematical ability to discern time, number of hours in a day, but rather, that Proverbs 31 is God speaking to the millions of women in our world who are mere SLAVES, that they are VALUED, more precious than rubies.

And the best example I can give is the women in Africa, who yes, do live the Proverbs 31 in very much the same manner as women did in Biblical Times. The men sitting at the gates, yes, men in Africa, for example, Do sit at the gates, men who don't life a finger to work,

because their slave WIVES do all the work, and they are some of the world's most exploited, abused, violated, and suffering violence. In their reality, though it is NOT a andro-centric nuclear patriarchy, it is a tribal patriarchy that thrives on hierarchy, particularly among the WIVES, or, WIVES WITH SLAVES, slaves that are usually children, paid and bought for, by men, who claim them as wives but they are really servants, with a very harsh hierarchy. The one at the bottom, does most of the grunge work and takes the most beatings. Countries such as Sierra Leone, for example,

and not just in Africa, but in parts of Asia this also ends to be the social norm. The world looks at these women with disdain, with pity, they are not the glamorous woman that the West holds up, but in God's eyes, because He sees, their oppression, their being devalued and yet, its These women, who hold and preserve entire societies THROUGH THE GENERATIONS, while the men, yes, sit at the gates, men who are privilege, fat with excess and luxury of idle time, and men, who no one dare challenge them to be, better men. Men who are like 'gods' in temples, who can do no wrong,

yet the tears of the thousands upon thousands who break their backs under a heavy yoke and whose spirits are crushed under a heavy cloud of contempt, fill the crevices and rivers that pour out onto the clay cracked soil that yearns for rain, rain of comfort from God.

Proverbs 31 has been the catalyst of the American and Western Puritanical andro-centric patriarchy that forced many a woman to also, rely on slaves, slaves who were African, Mexican, Asian, slaves who were women, yes, the real Women, of Proverbs 31,

but these women did not wear scarlet robes nor were they crowned with jewels, no, these women wore burlap and cotton and polyester. These women wore sun wrinkled skin and hump backs and swollen ankles,

but to God, these women, were the crowned jewels, these women in His eyes wore scarlet robes of nobility, more precious than rubies, their works not going unnoticed, nor will they be invisible.

In our world today, we have thousands of women who work in not just the worst impoverished conditions but who work in labor camps, who work as domestic 'slaves' even here in America, though titled Nannies, these women, many of them from Jamaica and Haiti, work with no days off, no freedom, no room of their own,

it is not the privilege woman with the nannies and the thousand dollar remodeled home with her prada shoes that is the Proverbs 31 woman, though she may be a trophy and a trophy to quite a number of Preachers, Men, who yes, sit at the gates,

no, the Real Proverbs 31 woman, the one that God sees who is worth more than the crown of rubies, is that woman,

you may walk by every day in the market, at the park with the children who are not her own, that woman that sews your clothes for .20cents a day to feed her starving children,

the women in burlap, cotton, naked even...the women who are yes, Proverbs 31.

OK, well, after a day of prayer and tears,

got some answers, to the Abba Father, what it means, WHAT IT DOESN'T MEAN.

what it does mean, is that God, is our Spiritual Father, [but God in the Bible also is to us, many other things, including dwelling, which in Hebrew is a female noun, another topic, as I want to do more research on the Hebrew names for God before posting, but one of them, is a female noun in Hebrew, showing the female character of God...in the dwelling, or in one definition, like a bird's nest, birds, and that I could see because Jesus did say, how often I've wanted to gather you like a hen does her chicks],

but, anyway, the Abba Father, is Spiritual, for the heirs, the sons AND daughters...

but, the way, the masculine terminology has been used literal to put up this male Supremacy, hurts women,

hurts children,

because it gives the impression that God and Man has relationship, woman and child, are just appendages.

Who are often, abused, because if they have no value, other than being appendages, then, whats wrong with abusing them, right?

Unfortunately, there are those who truly believe, that women and children have no value other than for man's glory,

so in my journey, Is God a Misogynist, which has opened up so many wounds and internalizations,

it has also, revealed to me, or I should say, God has revealed to me, how sinful people have mischaracterized the character, nature, Holiness of God,

molding God into the Image that THEY want to support, prop up, maintain, perpetuate, the Power that they have over others,

be it religious institutions, social institutions, governments, you name it,

but God is a MORAL AND HOLY GOD, A JUST GOD, as well as A MERCIFUL GOD,

the two go hand in hand, God is not one without the Other,

God is Love,

and LOVE, is, MORAL, HOLY, AND MERCIFUL.

Love is 1 Corinthians 13:4-13
