Great versus on Faith and Salvation

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The word of God is the Bible so this points out how very important it is to read the Bible.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 Timothy 3:15
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1 Peter 1:9
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Hebrews 7:25

Here are some versus that indicate that salvation is 100% done by God. In other words not even our faith (independent from God) or our "accepting Christ" had anything to do with it. These concepts were brought to my attention after reading the topics on Salvation from the book "Topics from the Open Forum" (www.familyradio.com)
