Why God, Abba Father, and God as Male, is Hurtful in More Ways that One

because, for many of us,

the only Mother, we know, is not a good one...

I'm not going to go into all the gory details, all I am going to say, is that my mother was sadistically abusive to both my brother and to me, more so to me, however, as she hated anything female.

She was abusive both physically, extreme emotional and mental abuse and yes, sexual abuse...[not as horrific however, as other women I know who were raped by their mothers with dolls, objects, in a very violent way, NO, sexual abuse from a mother or another woman is not kinder, let me confront That lie, that many radical feminists and female abusers/sexual abusers like to put forth, and well, the women I have met in support group, the abuse is horrid, often times more sadistic and brutal than fathers who abuse].

I am including this on this site because it need to be addressed, as a Radical Feminist, yes, that I am,

because I believe in Human Rights for EVERYONE, that means, both women AND men, both girls AND boys,

I cannot, in good mind, confront the evils of patriarchy, without confronting the evils of matriarchy and yes, women abusing other women, children, etc.

While I do, blame the patriarchy, for much of the female perp abuse, IT is not the ONLY reason women abuse,

and to only lump female abusers to the reaction or germination of patriarchy I think, trivializes and minimizes the evil of abuse as well as it gives those women who do abuse, a get out of jail free card,

just like, using the Bible, twisting scripture, helps men to get out of jail free card to, when they abuse.

Abuse is about POWER,

and its the ABUSE OF POWER, that I want to confront, be it MALE OR FEMALE.

Not just patriarchy.

There is, YES, and I want to make SURE all who read this understand this, there IS, yes, that germination of violence and abuse that DOES COME, FROM BEING ABUSED, AND YES, THAT WOULD INCLUDE

PATRIARCHAL ABUSE...

so I'm not saying, that patriarchy isn't influential because it IS, in a HUGE WAY,

what I am saying though, is that, patriarchy ALONE, isn't the cause of abuse and abusive women,

and let me close with this, before I add this link,

THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT OUR WORLD IS GOING TO BE FACED WITH CONFRONTING BECAUSE

OF THE EMOTIONAL DETACHMENT OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN, MANY NOW ADULTS,

WHO HAVE NO EMOTIONAL MEANS TO CONNECT, WHO FEEL NO REMORSE, NO EMOTION,

FROM SUFFERING EXTREME ABUSE,

BE IT BY FEMALE OR MALES.

So, telling the women, girls, teens, that Abba Father will help them, when its their Mothers who abuse them,

WON'T CUT IT,

telling men, boys, teens, that Abba Father will help them, when its their Mothers who abuse them,

WON'T CUT IT AND IT WILL JUST REAFFIRM TO THEM, THEIR RIGHT TO ABUSE BACK.

Telling women, girls, teens, that Abba Father will help them, that Abba Father made them 'female'

if they suffered abuse by a female, that will ONLY REAFFIRM TO THEM, THEIR WORTHLESSNESS AND NATURAL INCLINATION TO HATE THEMSELVES MAKING THEM MORE PRONE TO TOLERATE ABUSE BY MEN

OR

MAKING THEM HATE THEMSELVES EVEN MORE, AS A FEMALE...

in other words, God, as only Abba Father, doesn't just damage, because of male to female abuse,

IT IS EVEN MORE DAMAGING, TO THOSE, WHO SUFFER,

BOTH,

MALE TO FEMALE

AND

FEMALE TO FEMALE, especially when, its by the hands of their very OWN MOTHERS.

These cases of FEMALE ABUSE, ESPECIALLY SEXUAL

ARE INCREASING...

PERPETUATING PATRIARCHY, AND A MASCULINE GOD

IS ONLY SERVING, TO REINFORCE THAT, TO PERPETUATE THAT, AND TO JUSTIFY THE ABUSE OF POWER,

THIS IS WHY,

ITS NOT JUST PATRIARCHY THAT NEEDS TO BE CONFRONTED,

IT IS

ALSO,

AUTHORITARIANISM AND YES, HIERARCHY.

The abuse of those who have power,

its not just males folks,

its also, females.

And the ROOT,

IS NOT JUST PATRIARCHY,

ITS HIERARCHY,

DOMINATION.

And its time, I strongly believe, we have to confront it, question God about it, look at scripture, ALL OF SCRIPTURE,

if we truly, want to be healed, and to minister, to those who need healing.

UPDATE: About an hour later, was researching and came across this, and, Wow, this IS IT,

the root of the problem, at least, for me, when it comes to reconciling abuse and God, including Child abuse,

for adults who have suffered child abuse [and children], the First issue, in reconciling is NOT SUBMIT TO HUSBANDS,

oh no,

its, HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER...

but, here's the thing, like submission to husbands has been warped and used as a 'tool' to abuse women,

so has, Honor thy father and mother, been used, to justify and perpetuate and condone, child abuse.

No wonder, victims [and you know, Psalms uses the term victims, God doesn't deny there is victims, only People deny there are victims],

anyway, no wonder, victims of child abuse, have a hard time reconciling with God.

But, God is a God of Holiness, and His Love, does have conditions... meaning,

what we are being indoctrinated with today, the unconditional love to where, we are to TOLERATE EVIL,

is from the pits of hell, and its being used in perpetuating patriarchy, abusive marriages, and child abuse and tolerance to criminals, abusers, tolerance to children-teens who abuse, etc.
