Been keeping watch on the reactors, etc., news, I wanted to include, just briefly, some Information on Plutonium. There seems to be a lot of either ignorance OR some astonishing 'lies' being told on media, not all the media but several that I've heard, about the effects of radioactive fallout. And I do mean Lies,

one, well no, two I've heard saying that 'this fallout IF there was one, would be the equivalent of a TSA scanner', I'm sorry, EXCUSE ME, WHERE THE FUCK DID YA GO TO SCHOOL? SERIOUSLY, where Do they get these faux experts!?

I'm no nuclear physicist but Geesh, I can pick up a fucking Physics book and tell you, these folks are FULL OF SHIT.

For one thing, they are not detailing the effects of spent Plutonium 239, how it's made, etc., uranium of course is more easily mined, because it's more plentiful in environment, with Plutonium it's different. The thing with MOX fuel and with Plutonium in of itself, is how it reacts to temperatures, coolants and neutrons?,[brain tired right now, info below] etc., inside the reactor, what they call those Rods. Anyhow it gets a bit scientific, putting it here in real layman or street terms, but point being, Plutonium is far more dangerous than Uranium, for several reasons. One that stands out from what I've read is it gets into soil and plants and like one article I read on algae, it appears to get stronger in strength as time goes on. Something to do with fission,

anyhow, the effects of Plutonium are different from the hard element to Gas form, which btw, includes Steam. It is also more wanted from what I read by terrorists for bombs, though that's not my focus here but IF that be the case, then that kind of says, it's not a 'safe bet' nor some equivalent of an X-ray or TSA scanner. One article I read says it has a half-life of 24,000 years,

so much for that 'it will fall and be over with in a few months' Myth floating around out there. Anyway,I'm no nuclear expert, wasn't like THE core [no pun intended] issue I worked on, though I have been environmentalist and active in those issues for Years, like I did Some activist work against transport of waste/building plants near aquifer's, etc., but my focus environmental wise was on cutting consumption wastes, ending other toxins/dumping in rivers, recycling, etc., and the relationship between environmental degradation and Misogyny, and they are Heavily related, so like my heavy focus wasn't ON nuclear, oh, yea, I should include animal rights/preservation, etc., water conservation and environmental concerns related to Urbanization/Poverty, so, just to clarify that. So my understanding of nuclear doesn't just come from off hand knowledge [unlike other issues that I've spent years studying], but I CAN read, and grasp many sciences, and from what I can thus far gather, this shit ain't good....I also read that breathing it [in gas form especially, including via Steam] well, kind of deadly, the 239 form especially. OR PU 239. This is why you see those face masks, and another thing, seems to be mentioned a lot is How it gets into tissue and why they say cover cuts,

so, I will post some links here, for us to read/and keep, besides, it's just good knowledge to have, Why? Because waste or PU waste is also an Issue that Americans need to be aware of, because of the transporting of that waste [a very serious risk/danger to public] AND the increase of plants here in the West, not only that, the lobby for, seems to be a big money backed lobby. The argument is that it is of course cleaner than coal and oil.

You know something, So is WIND. So is Solar Power, and not so deadly in case of accident Which btw, seems that there isn't a pristine record where That's concerned either. Just saying....

and you know, it wouldn't be the End of the world, if we began to Limit hours per day for electrical use, like, I don't know, a three hour cut each day, across the board, get people use to NOT being so dependent on lights during Daytime [like ARE they really necessary????] and t.v.s going all the time and music stereos and even yes, computers...oh yes, they infringe on Freedom

well, let's see, what's worse, three hours a day without electric, to conserve energy and environment, OR

a lifetime or half life, of living in seclusion, with masks, radioactive checks, decontamination units, constant fear, and cancers and cell diseases and genetic horrors????????
