I have a mix of feelings, over Japan, the loss of  life, the Mass consumerism, the horrid environmental record, the male violence glorification culture [in media/gaming/anime, porn, etc] AS well as knowing the history of the Struggle of Japan's Comfort Women who have been seeking Justice for YEARS, 

AND then, the sorrow I feel for the tragic loss of life, the loss of homes, stability, etc., Having known homelessness and trauma that comes from the result of immediate loss-change, I can relate to the Shock, not from Natural Disaster, no, that I can't imagine, not on This scale, no, and I wouldn't insult those who are suffering with saying I do understand, I don't.  But I do understand the Fear of not knowing what the Future holds, and With children.  It is NOT fun and it's something you don't Ever get over, not entirely, losing that Security changes you, in ways that you're never the same.  It changes you in both in negative ways AND positive ways...though for me, the Positive I still struggle with, my once held innocence and trust in humanity was eroded, 

but then, in all this turmoil, tragedy going on in Japan, the ONE thing that keeps showing up, is the brave PATIENCE these people have shown, That and their Orderly CARE for ONE ANOTHER.  IF this had been America, This would be the scenes we'd be seeing,

men raping rampant all over the place--filming it for use in Porn later, men selling children into sex slavery/drug cartel, people looting, people waring in the streets, race wars, class wars, crime would soar, people shooting one another, people resorting to violence and total anarchy, Some people stocking up threatening to Kill any who need help while other's suffer waiting for aid, IF that aid ever got there, the Poor would most likely as WE seen in past be Screwed, Media would of course exploit the Shit out of  it for PR and of course there would be plenty of Hollywood types milking it for all it's worth, it's Good for Fame and Ratings...youth revolutionaries would use the suffering and misery along with political groups to slam politicians...all would play the BLAME GAME, but DON'T expect Americans [or religious zealots other than 'for their little own'] to come to the Aid of One Another, Oh HELL NO,

We wouldn't see the CARE shown, that is being shown In Japan...

on one Atheist site today, someone From Japan made the comment that Japan is an atheist country.  And they noticed that on several Christian Western blogs, there were comments such as, "this is God's punishment for them being a heathen Godless nation" and similar racist, snobbish retorts such as this...

while I wish there was more of an environmental conscious Globally and Especially an Active Concern WITH ACTION for women, children, girls, to END MALE VIOLENCE, RAPE CULTURE, PORN CULTURE--- including IN Japan,

and while I Do believe that what WE do see, is the mass amounts of damage DUE to our being Disconnected and LIVING AGAINST THE GRAIN OF MOTHER EARTH RATHER THAN 'IN HARMONY' WITH HER,

if Anything, I believe that the behavior of the Japanese people, shows HOPE, INSPIRATION, that PEOPLE can change, make a difference, and Learn and Adapt to better ways for All of Humanity.

I can't say the same sadly for the West or for the East where Religious thuggery and hate spewed for 'gawd' reigns supreme....

and I think it Says something, Religions are only worth their BEHAVIOR...IF religious people are acting in violence, sanctioning male violence [evolutionary atheists do this as well, I've met numerous Extreme misogynist jerks in the Atheist groups] , disregard for the environment [materialists Do this as well] acting in ethnic violence, nationalism, etc., then What does their religion have to say about the future of Humanity?

And then, we see in an over all Atheist with Buddhist influence nation--with possibly the lessons of past violence they have learned from [and I do think that's a huge part of it], and we see a HUMANITARIAN SOCIETY...at least to a much larger degree than we see in the Religious West and Religious East.

IF I were a Child, I would want to LIVE in Japan, in contrast to Iran [for sure esp if I was a girl] or Egypt or America...

and I see this photo of the child's book, and I think, "That's Mother Nature, telling US something"

the Question is, ARE WE LISTENING?  CAN WE HEAR HER NOW?

time will only tell...

It is my hope, that WE do not only Hear Mother Earth, we Act on What she has to say to Us,

let's work on building a Kinder Respectful Human Race, Ending Male Violence to Women, Patriarchal and Materialist [religious or scientist indifference to the Feminine Mother Womb of Earth and Woman] and Misogyny, Racism and Class Oppression.  Let's work on Living in Harmony, rather than Pillaging and War with Mother Earth.


We can begin, by learning to live in our own lives, in peace, harmony and listening--to the connection in All of life.  So to the Future for this Child,
