    If you can, get on GLP and look up Ritual Abuse, in churches, and look for Sandy.  She posted an online book about the RA going on in churches, I mention this, because I myself am a survivor [which you never really survive, it's a daily deprogramming process due to the trauma and mind control] but anyhow, there is also, http://www.gregoryreid.com/id2... [ritual abuse in churches] and then there is, http://www.crasurvivors.com/, surviving/healing from Christian Ritual Abuse.  And yes, it IS OCCULT.  And it is spiritual and mind control abuse, just like any cult...and no, one doesn't get free from it from a magick wand, wishing it away or by positive thinking.
    These 'cults' seek out former abuse victims using the same psychology that BDSM cults use, and the same methods and rituals.  This is what is SO DAMAGING about being ensnared by these types of pastors/churches/cults is that the rituals and mind control compound the early childhood abuse and in fact these methods are all spawned by the same cults that go way back in time, they've just gotten better at sanitizing it.  A lot of the damage caused won't even surface until later, much of it is covered up by rage and anger, and that in of itself is hell to walk through. 
    So many people don't believe that ritual and mind control abuse happen in churches but in fact this is one of the main places that occult type of abuses can and do occur, because they are the least suspected.  These abuses, same methods, are also carried out in the secular fields, why if you are an abuse survivor [esp sexual] you have to be very careful as to where you go for help, because when you're vulnerable the wolves so to speak seek out those very avenues where they know there will be victims they can 'exploit' for their own power needs and obsessions.  There are some good websites, on Botkin Syndrome, which is a form of heavily indoctrinated mind control through use of religion that contributes to heavy child and domestic violence including sadistic creation of sex slaves [those forced births are all about that too] and the long lasting effects from these, can yes, lead and/or cause DID, and other long term and permanent psychological damage.
    To trivialize pain is in fact a form of mind control that is used for several reasons, one is to protect the 'facade' of cult power, particularly of the leadership, another is to create a dependency that will allow the programmers to set up mind alters that they can manipulate for further control, and yes, usually there is a a lot of group control and MONEY involved. 
    While all religions have some of these variables, there are those that are STRICTLY about mind control and are cults, and sad to say they are growing in the dominion movement, anyway, they do share similar methods and signs, one being that I noticed right off [recall I am a RA survivor] is the use of counseling to penalize and criminalize [in spiritual means] victims of abuse, often they'll focus on a few texts [cherry pick] on forgiveness that create a feeling of GUILT on the victim rather than address the wrong behavior of the perp/or perps, that is to create a deeper alter inside the victim through a type of mental abuse trauma, violating trust then building it up [this is fake] then tearing it down again, and it's this way in which then they use the group think to further control/policing behaviors until they get you to the place where you won't question and any 'abuse from them' you will blame your self or attribute this to some 'god is testing me' or what have you,
    and this is how they do this.  It works just like any other cult, that depends on tearing you down [de-individualization], rebuilding you into their image or shell [shells is very dangerous, why women are notorious for being victimized using the submissive scriptures] and then policing you until they literally control your mind.  Again, I am referring here to churches that have some heavy occult rituals that work just like in the other types of mind control cults...and another similarity is their obsession with women submitting to all types of degrading sexual abuse.  This is done through silencing and shaming women who come forward with abuse, sexual abuse, dv and child abuse, and why counseling can yes, be in fact, dangerous.
    Many in the church may avoid the more serious abuses because they are not the 'intended targets', remember, these leaders target prior victims and today child abuse, sexual abuse, bdsm and other abuses are increasing in epidemic numbers against women and children in the churches.  In Africa these abuses are full blown sacrifices...those occur here too but are more sinister in how they cover them up.
    Look up 'spiritual abuse', there are numerous survivors who are forming blogs addressing this issue and you are not alone.  Find groups you can trust, I myself look for other RA victims because the exploitation is so rampant, against former abuse victims.  Churches, is one of the most dangerous ones this occurs...the mental health is another.  [esp for women, people of color and the poor].

    You've been reading nonsense. The BDSM/leather crowd are into consent from all parties and "safe, sane, consensual" activities. Too bad the religious aren't as careful.
  • Unlike religion, those involved in BDSM have a safe word and when they choose to use it, all activities stop and the dom makes sure the sub is safe and unharmed.  The submissive is the one with the power, for they are the ones that control how much is done for how long.  As Jim said, "safe, sane and consensual."  BDSM is all about consensual relationships.  I do not appreciate your implying that BDSM is some sort of sex-slavery cultish crap.  That is something purely in the realm of the mentally unstable and the religious.
