I've always considered the obsession with sports figures to be sick and demented.
I've seen the life of females wasted while jocks are protected before and it speaks loud and clear about what our culture values and what they think is important.
This story goes right along with it.
The gods of this culture are sports (entertainment) and the all mighty dollar. Little girls, even the pretty ones, are considered worthless if they don't go along with the worship of these gods.

I truly can not believe how bad things have gotten. I am often an 'army of one' standing up for women, and it's damn lonely, but reading this I know why I have to continue.

yea, it Does get damn lonely doesn't it? That's how they do it, I think I'll write on this too because that isolationism is also from the whole fragmentation of women/souls, etc., that goes way back--the opposite of being whole.
And yes we have to continue, but it IS going to be way more difficult, I think, it will really boil down to 'overcoming evil with good', inside of ourselves...because the night is coming, so to speak,
that's on a spiritual note but it's 'acting ON LOVE, love meaning standing firm to the end', where we pull our strength from,
because yes, we Are fighting a war against evil and against demons, and we are fighting a war against those who build Shrines, with the bodies of sacrifices, of women, children and yes, some good men, elderly, disabled, poor, needy, etc.

and we are seeing it...it's the filling of the cup so to speak--evil is coming to it's fruition,
but the thing with that--so is good. And
good wins, because Love [real love, not erotica, not hedonism, but real love] Never fails--
