While my research is Not completed yet on this topic, I have found too much that I believe, is still a very central part of the Perversions of Religions and Doctrines we see today and Why there IS an increase in violence against women, Especially Sexual Violence. The Main Thread in all of these Doctrines, IS the Obsession with Submission, especially that of Women, to men and to male gods, though many may Have 'female' gods their roles were Always that of sexual submission, violence and war. Especially violence and war. What I am finding in my research--and that has a huge influence in Roman & Greek mythologies as well. I have not Concluded on all points but the findings and comparative analysis to doctrines/ideologies today, are just too identical in parts, to simply dismiss as a mere coincidence. They all have an obsession with hierarchies that are Centered on the Sexual Subjugation of girls and women. My goal is not to Bash religion or to End Religion, but to see where there is a historical and psychological And spiritual connection in human nature--that has distorted religions, from fear, and the fear of death/survival, and why LIFE, life that women carry and nurture [though not always] is hated so much. Ironically I found many of the same oppressions of women -undesirables- in ancient goddess beliefs too, who were Part/relationship with gods, such as Marduk, which IS mentioned numerous times, in the Old Testament. end of note.
